The Candler Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton offers discerning travelers a timeless retreat in the heart of Atlanta, where historic grandeur meets modern luxury. A meticulously restored architectural gem that combines impeccable service, sophisticated elegance, and curated experiences, providing an unforgettable stay for those seeking refined comfort and cultural immersion in a vibrant urban setting. The hotel is located within the historic Candler Building, a 17-story high-rise originally built in 1906 by Asa Griggs Candler, the Coca-Cola magnate. The building is a masterpiece of architecture and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel's interior is a perfect blend of modern and classic design, with elegant furnishings and decor that exude sophistication and comfort. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities guests need for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of the hotel is By George, the renowned restaurant located in the space that was previously occupied by Central Bank and Trust. Make the most of business travel or a family weekend by upgrading to a one-bedroom suite with a separate living room, sofa bed, and soaking tub. For meetings, the hotel has 6,000 square feet of flexible meeting space suitable for all types of meetings and social events. The Candler Hotel Atlanta is the perfect choice for travelers who want to experience the best of Atlanta's history, culture, and cuisine. Dining In 1905, Coca-Cola founder, Asa Candler, commissioned two architects to create a building that would become a landmark on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. The work of these architects, George Stewart and George E. Murphy, has been lovingly restored and reopened in the summer of 2019 as The Candler Hotel. The restoration of this stunning Beaux-Arts masterpiece represents a homecoming for Atlanta, bringing back a metropolitan polish that transcends trends and time. Within this iconic building, you will find a restaurant named By George, in honor of the architects who crafted its space. By George is the hotel's destination dining room, offering pure, classic cuisine with heavy influences from Contemporary American cooking. To complement the dishes, the restaurant has an extensive wine program and expertly crafted cocktails. The restaurant is open throughout the day, and the outward-facing design is fitting for a location that has so much to offer. The Candler Hotel, with its towering marble columns, tinkling chandeliers, and original period elevators, is a symbol of the metropolitan refinement that existed in Atlanta's city center. By George is a reminder of this refinement, bringing back the Beaux Arts era to the heart of Atlanta. You don't want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience.Hilton

LikedThe staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for where we needed to be. The room were nice size, clean, I loved the feel and ambiance of the hotel. There is a library seating area. As well as many other nice seating areas to just enjoy a bit of time out of your room but not out of the hotel. The nespresso machine is adorable with the cups and saucers. The color scheme is great. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

DislikedI wish there was some sort of breakfast incentive that was not so pricey on top of the other expenses for staying.

DislikedThere is no parking at the property, valet is the only option, and is $55 per night. Other than that, we had zero complaints.
